I'm interested in building a blog to promote Human Rights. This area is sadly neglected on this planet. People pay it lip service, but they don't do anything about it. Have you seen the film Hotel Rwanda? It's a story of the seamy underbelly of what passes as Human Rights on this planet.

Last month there was an event acknowledging kids who applied the precepts of the book The Way to Happiness. TWTH is a non-religious moral code that teaches people about morals which when followed lead to a happier life. Such as treating others the way you want to be treated, taking care of your environment and not doing drugs.
I was asked to sing at this event. And I'm so glad I did. I got to see kids come up on stage and be acknowledged for applying TWTH and receive awards. Their parents were so proud.
One of the precepts of TWTH is "set a good example" and that's exactly what these kids are doing.

The original "Nightingale" was Jenny Lind.
In the middle 1800s, Jenny Lind was a Swedish singer that wowed the world. She was the Britney Spears of her day. She toured the United States in 1850-1852 and was called "The Swedish Nightingale".
She may have been the first modern "pop" singer.
This is my site about song.
